Always Explore! Jan’s motto, and it works for her in all facets of life. Bring Jan to your school, library, company, corporation, or group. Jan can take you on a rollicking multi-media ride around the globe setting world records for climbing and skiing. She even took a hot air balloon over Everest and crashed! No Kidding, and she set a record in the process and made an award winning film! Jan then went on to live with and photograph an indigenous tribe on all continents for her award winning book series, Vanishing Cultures. Jan continues to travel and create more award winning books concerning cultural and environmental sustainability. Bring Jan in for a lecture or workshop now! MOTIVATION, TEAMWORK, CREATIVITY, TRUST

SCHOOLS/LIBRARIES-
Join Jan for a day at your school. Get ready for a fun ride! She can give you more bang for your buck. There is no limit to the size of the group, and she often works with an entire school in 1 day. Her multi-media show/lecture is good for all ages, and discussion groups follow. She will help you meet the standards for earth science, English, social studies, and geography…. all through the lense of her cultural and environmental experiences. Motivate your students now.

CULTURAL ADVENTURE SHOW/LECTURE will take you around the world to all continents, exploring indigenous cultures and our human family, as well as the environments we live in: Amazon Rainforest, Himalayan Mountains, Sahara Desert, and much, much, more.

CYCLE OF RICE AND CELEBRATE! SHOW/LECTURE will dig deeper into concepts of environmental sustainability and the connection of our great human family. We will live with Indonesian rice farmers and learn why and how they live sustainably, and explore the link of celebrations around the world, illustrating we are one human family celebrating life on earth.

Jan also has shows dealing specifically with her EVEREST GRAND CIRCLE expedition book, and CHINA, EAST TO WEST, from her many trips crossing China.

WORKSHOP: FEARLESS WRITING

Jan uses her book, ONLY THE MOUNTAINS DO NOT MOVE, and multi-media show about the Maasai to teach writing, in it’s best, often demanded, short form. “Be fearless when you write, like the Maasai, and you will be surprised what you can do”, says Jan. This workshop is great for learning how to do quick writing prompts, learning creative expression for filling out applications, (job, college, etc.) and more. BE FEARLESS!
